17 July 2023
Walbrook PR, which provides high quality Financial PR and Investor Relations services to Small Cap and AIM listed companies, announces that it is acting as Financial PR & Investor Relations advisor for SigmaRoc plc (AIM: SRC), the specialist quarrying group that invests, improves, integrates and innovates companies within the industrial materials space, in both the UK and Europe.
Walbrook is managing the Company’s ongoing communications with the media, research analysts and non-institutional investors, including new and existing private investors.
SigmaRoc invests in high quality companies and its vision is to become the leading European quarried materials group. It seeks to create value by purchasing assets in fragmented materials markets, extracting efficiencies through active management and forming the assets into larger groups. In addition, through the development of new products and services, the Group aims to meet the challenges of providing customers with innovative and sustainable solutions for the future.
SigmaRoc aims to grow quickly, balancing exciting acquisitive and organic growth initiatives in a sector with notable barriers to entry. Environmental and Social responsibilities are central to every decision the Company makes, which has positioned SigmaRoc as market leaders in terms of their achievements in green technology; with the ultimate goal being net zero by 2040.
The Group listed on AIM in 2017, has made over 15 acquisitions, and now employs over 2,000 staff in more than 80 sites across the UK and Europe. In 2021 it made its largest acquisition to date, acquiring Nordkalk, Europe’s leading limestone producer; a key material for the green transition, for €500m.
Paul McManus, Founder and Managing Director of Walbrook PR, said: “We’re extremely pleased to be working with SigmaRoc, and are excited to support management as they pursue their bold and ambitious growth strategy.
“The addition of SigmaRoc reflects the depth of knowledge and the capabilities that the Walbrook team has in supporting companies operating in the wider Industrials space.”
