Paul has over 20 years of experience working in Financial PR for growing Small Cap and AIM companies and founded Walbrook in April 2009. Paul has an MA in Theology from Oxford University and before starting in the City was an English voice presenter for Radio Vaticana in Rome.

Tom Cooper
Director
Graduating with a BA Hons in Financial Services, Tom started his career in Banking. He bought 50% of Winningtons Financial PR in 2006 and led the merger with Walbrook in 2015. He has extensive experience of supporting growth companies at IPO and across acquisitions, disposals, secondary fundraisings and shareholder restructurings. Tom lived in Sydney for three years and maintains a strong link with his Australian network.

Paul Vann
Director
Paul has over 25 years' experience in Financial PR, primarily advising small and mid-cap growth companies. He previously spent several years in corporate finance stockbroking advising on IPOs, secondary fund-raisings and M&A transactions.
Paul Vann began his City career in 1979 in Stockbroking, latterly in Corporate Finance, before moving into Financial PR in the late 80s. Paul worked for several years at Bell Pottinger before moving to Binns & Co PR, where he was a Director alongside Walbrook founder Paul McManus.

Helen Cresswell
Associate Director
Helen
has worked in Financial PR since September 2007 and was a founding member of
the Walbrook team when it was established in April 2009. During her time at
Walbrook Helen has managed a number of clients across both Technology and
Lifesciences working on a variety of transactions supporting IPOs, M&A and
fundraisings, as well as financial calendar work. Helen has built up strong
relationships with financial journalists, analysts and investors.

Stephanie Cuthbert
Director
Stephanie has worked in strategic communications for over 15 years, advising both listed and private life sciences companies from around the world on a broad range of communications challenges. She spent 12 years in the life sciences team at FTI Consulting, where she advised fast growth and large companies across the sector on their corporate and financial communications, including a ten-month secondment working directly with the head of external communications at a large pharmaceutical company in Zurich. She was previously at Abchurch Communications where she specialised in the healthcare sector advising small cap AIM companies. She holds a BSc honours degree in Zoology from the University of Sheffield and a post graduate diploma in public relations from the University of Hertfordshire.

Nick Rome
Director
Nick has over 10 years of experience advising growth stocks on AIM and has worked on a number of IPOs, dual listings and acquisitions. Prior to working in financial PR Nick was a financial journalist working for a variety of publications, most notably spending five years as a small cap specialist writer at the Investors Chronicle.

Lianne Applegarth
Director
Lianne has over 10 years' experience working in the financial PR & IR industry and works on a variety of small cap AIM listed companies with a particular focus on life sciences. Lianne has extensive experience in building roadshows, providing ongoing PR plans for clients, arranging site visits for analysts / investors and dealing with daily private shareholder enquiries. Lianne has strong contacts within the media, in particular in the lifesciences sector and small cap arena, and amongst the equity analyst community and has experience working across IPOs, M&A and fundraisings. Lianne graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in Economics.

Anna Dunphy
Director
Anna has over 15 years' experience in financial PR, strategic media relations and public affairs. She has previously worked at Bell Pottinger and from there, spun out De Facto Financial to concentrate on life science companies in the small cap market where her focus remains, although she has worked on a number of resources and technology clients in the past. Anna graduated with a degree in chemistry from University College Cork, Ireland.

Alice Woodings
Associate Director
Alice joined Walbrook having worked previously in sales and account management within travel and corporate hospitality. Alice works on a variety of companies and has significant experience in Annual Report project management, organising investor meetings, dealing with investor engagement and Capital Markets Days, as well as strong City connections. Alice graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Ancient History.

Phil Marriage
Senior Associate
Phil works with a range of clients across the sector advising them on their financial and corporate communications. He joined Walbrook from Instinctif, a Financial and Corporate PR agency where he spent three years working within the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors. Phil has worked with companies ranging from Pharma and Biotech, to venture capital firms and CROs, from pre-Series A up to IPO stage, and has experience in crisis communications. Phil graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BSc Hons degree in Biomedical Sciences.

Vince Nicholls
Chairman
Vince is a Chartered Accountant, having spent some 20 years running his own accountancy practice looking after the accounting, taxation and business affairs of small traders through to AIM listed multinational companies. In recent years, Vince has been active in corporate finance arranging the listings and IPOs of companies onto AIM and ISDX, as well as being director of a number of enterprises. Vince is Chairman of Walbrook and continues to be actively involved in AIM and PLUS listings, mergers and acquisitions.

Sara Robinson
Consultant
Sara is an multi-award-winning PR and social media consultant working with clients across the UK and Europe.
A former print and broadcast journalist, she has 18 years of experience delivering campaigns for clients in a wide range of business and Government sectors. From devising and launching National Parks Week to celebrate Britain’s most precious protected landscapes to boosting adoption enquiries, she is passionate about integrated communications campaigns that make a positive difference.
Sara is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and a former Institute of Directors’ Young Director of the Year in Wales. She has led over 20 award-winning PR campaigns, and one of her proudest moments is winning a CIPR UK President's Award for a child car seat safety campaign on behalf of the Welsh Government.

Sam Allen
Associate Director
Sam has over 20 years’ Financial PR experience advising growth companies on AIM, beginning his career at Binns & Co working alongside both Paul McManus and Paul Vann. During his career he has covered a wide array of sectors, including leisure, technology media and telecoms, life sciences, construction and support services and has built up excellent City contacts, particularly in the financial media. Sam holds a post-graduate diploma in Journalism and worked at The Observer newspaper from 2001-2012. Sam joined Walbrook in 2014, where he has worked on a variety of AIM and Small Cap company transactions and currently focusses on life sciences.

Louis Ashe-Jepson
Senior Associate
Louis works on a variety of companies across the life sciences space, with experience across M&A, IPOs and fundraisings. Prior to joining Walbrook he worked in a variety of businesses, including various small technology start-ups, and has further experience in the City. Louis is a member of the IR Society and is certified with the IR Society’s Certificate in Investor Relations (CIR), covering themes including IR Advisory, Corporate Governance, Market Abuse, DTR & ESG reporting. Louis has a master’s degree in Translation Studies from University College London.

Owen Williams
Consultant
Owen Williams is Managing Director of Siml, a creative social media agency.
Owen has a formidable background in social media, having led Editorial Strategy at BBC Content Social, and previously as Head of Social at BBC One and BBC Wales.
Prior to the advent of social media, Owen was a Children's BAFTA-nominated television producer.
An experienced social media professional with 20 years' experience in digital innovation, content production, social media governance and post-production, Owen is a highly motivated creative leader and engaging public speaker, broadcaster and storyteller, with a strong track record of originating and managing digital projects on new and emerging platforms.
Owen combines his social media skills with Walbrook's focus on developing digital IR strategies for listed companies.

Kiki Zaccagnini
Associate
Kiki works on a variety healthcare clients, providing financial PR and corporate communications support. She joined Walbrook from Instinctif where she worked for a range of clients within Healthcare and Life Sciences, covering a range of disease and therapy areas. Kiki has a PhD in Biomedical and Life Sciences and an MSc in Biomedicine from Lancaster University.
Joe Walker
Senior Associate
Joe has broad sectoral experience working with a number of growth companies across Technology, Industrials, Financial Services, New Energy, and Natural Resources. He has advised companies from £5m-£700m+ market cap and has a strong understanding of the needs of members of both the AIM and Aquis markets. Beyond management of public financial calendars, Joe is well placed to advise on long term equity story development and manage day-to-day stakeholder engagement. He started his career at Deloitte in financial compliance where he had valuable exposure to the risks presented to businesses, particularly those that can impact reputation. Joe left Cardiff University with an MscEcon in International Relations in 2018 and still maintains a strong personal interest in current affairs.
Louisa Ansell
Associate
Louisa joined Walbrook in 2024, having previously worked in Investor Relations at WH Ireland. She works with a range of small cap and AIM listed clients, primarily focusing on the Technology industry.
Louisa has an undergraduate degree in Politics.
Charlotte Edgar
Director
Charlotte is an experienced Financial PR and Investor Relations specialist with nearly 20 years’ experience of City & Corporate Communications and Investor Engagement.
Charlotte was previously Head of Investor Relations at HarbourVest Global Private Equity (HVPE), a FTSE 250 investment company managed by HarbourVest Partners. There she was responsible for HVPE’s investor relations function, and oversaw their wider marketing, PR, and communications efforts. Before that Charlotte worked for SVG Capital plc/SVG Advisers (latterly Aberdeen SVG) as a senior client relationship manager for the company’s private equity fund of funds business and at PR and Communications agency Lansons. Charlotte began her career in the City at Binns & Co PR limited where she worked alongside Walbrook PR founder Paul McManus. Charlotte holds a Certificate in Investor Relations from The Investor Relations Society and the CFA UK Level 4 Investment Management Certificate.
